INSTRUCTION



Task 2: UI/UX Design Document


After locking down the App concept and idea, students are now ready to proceed to UX design. The students are required to produce a comprehensive UX design document that will provide better directions for them to design the app.

Based on the information gathered in task 1, the outline of the documents should be included:
  • Introduction of the User Research
  • User Research
  • Information Architecture
  • Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Features
  • User Flow

During the Week 6 class, we are instructed to design a set of questions for user research and proposed on Week 7. For this task, I chose to employ a survey questionnaire as the research method. The survey will help gather valuable insights and feedback from participants, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of their preferences and experiences.


INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this document is to improve the UI/UX design of the MusiC app. MusiC app is a service platform that provides high-quality music resources, and it is also a music software that provides online audition of massive music and the most popular music online. The target group of MusiC app is 18-40 years old, and the ratio of male to female is not much different. This document introduces the UI/UX design of the MusiC app, and collects and analyzes the user experience. Many users think that the layout of the MusiC app is a bit messy, the interaction method is single, the blank interface lacks guide words, and the listening interface does not have the function of displaying lyrics. This document will analyze and improve these problems.


USER RESEARCH

User Personal：Provide a detailed description of the user research that has been conducted, including user personas, user stories, and the pain points and needs of the target audience. Explain how research informs design decisions.
