                           Final Project: Stop Motion


For the final project, we must collaborate with someone to create a stop-motion animation. We'll have to create everything from scratch, including the screenplay, storyboard, character design, editing, sound effects, and so on.

  1. SYNOPSIS (ONE PARAGRAPH ONLY): 

Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival in memory of our Qu Yuan. In this traditional festival, we will eat ZongZi and race dragon boats. Of course, the north and south of China have very different ways of eating ZongZi. As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, we overseas travelers will miss our loved ones very much, as well as the traditional food of the Dragon Boat Festival - ZongZi. We decided to use different flavors of ZongZi from the north and the south to start this stop motion, as the protagonist of the story.

A.TITLE01: Rational


We referenced a lot of stop-motion animations on the Internet to find inspiration. When we saw the North-South Dumpling Battle, we immediately thought that the ZongZi Festival was approaching, and we might be able to do a North-South ZongZi Battle. In China, the south and the north have different tastes, so many people argue about which taste is the best, and so far there is no result.
