FEEDBACK
Week 1
The lecturer introduced this module and each task to us.
Week 2
I showed my lecturer my Chapter 5 Outline. The lecturer suggested that I modify my question and should not ask a question that can only be answered with yes or no. After receiving feedback from the lecturer, I changed it.
Week 3
This week was about the 5.0 introduction. The lecturer thought that the introduction lacked article references, and I needed to change the writing perspective from first person to third person and add labels to the entire paper. After getting feedback from the lecturer, I revised these issues.
Week 4
This week about 5.1: The role of color shopping websites. The lecturer said that I could not use the results of the questionnaire to analyze and summarize. I needed to cite literature to introduce my topic and focus on the application of color in design. I modified these questions after receiving feedback.
Week 5
This week is about 5.2 Perception and experience of Color on shopping websites across demographics (RQ1).
The lecturer suggested that I find graphic evidence of Lazada website colors and cite the evidence of the original data conclusion mentioned in 5.2. Delete research question 2 and make sure 5.1 and 5.2 answer research question 1. I revised these questions after receiving feedback from the lecturer.
Week 6
In 5.3 Conclusion, my data (age groups) are missing, I need to change the numerical order of the pictures in the article (1.1 -5.1) and delete the extra text (questions), and change the title of Chapter 4.
Week 7
I need to add an acknowledgment and abstract to my research. The instructor posted the submission requirements in class and we need to submit them as required.
Week 8
No Class.
Week 9
Regarding Idea Presentation, the lecturer did not choose any idea because I needed to redo my presentation because I did not show how to apply my idea. I need to write less words, put more application patterns, and then explain my ideas.
Week 10
After receiving feedback, I redo the presentation. I applied the color ideas, font ideas, and typography layout ideas to my paper and showed the teacher how I applied them. I added a lot of pictures and improved my presentation skills (the lecturer praised me). The teacher said that my slides were very clear this time and the presentation was better than the last time. The teacher suggested that I choose Idea 2. After getting the teacher's feedback, I started to do the layout design of the whole book.
Week 11
This week's introduction to Task 4 continues Task 2, and there are no consultations this week. I continued with my assignment, I designed the cover of the book and decided on the overall style, the layout is still in progress...
Week 12
This week we have to submit Task 2 and Task 3. Before submitting Task 2, Ms. Jinchi helped me check my research and marked my questions, and I made revisions. Regarding Task 3, I completed the final book design and layout design according to the tutorial provided by the teacher, and made it into an e-book.
Week 13
This week is about the progress of Task 4. This week was very busy and I had deadlines for other assignments, so I didn't update the progress of Task 4 in time, so I didn't attend the consultation meeting. But I finished Task 4 this Sunday and look forward to getting feedback from the lecturer at the next consultation meeting.
Week 14
This week I received a message from my lecturer about my final paper exceeding the AI rate limit. My lecturer suggested that I revise the exceeded parts to make sure it is within the limit this time. So I revised the paper and passed Turnitin, and then I started revising the e-book and KREATE.
Week 15
This week is the last week, and I received feedback from the lecturer on Task 4.
I need to capitalize the first letter of the title of KREATE's Affiliation and add the lecturer's email address, delete the redundant parts in the abstract, and modify the methodology, change the irregular writing method to a standard paragraph format, and add data support in the discussion section.
After correcting all the problems, I completed my blog and submitted all the assignments.
REFLECTION
Under the guidance of Ms. Jinchi, I successfully completed this module. After studying this module, I gained a deeper understanding of design research methods while also honing my academic and creative skills. At the beginning, I had difficulty in formulating effective research questions, however, with Ms. Jinchi's feedback, I gradually improved and improved my writing style. I improved my presentation skills after re-doing the presentation based on the feedback. Ms. Jinchi's encouragement and detailed feedback helped me a lot.
Towards the end of the semester, it was the busiest time, as I had to balance the deadlines of multiple assignments and make multiple revisions to ensure that my work was up to standard. I especially appreciate Ms. Jinchi's attention to detail, such as guiding me to understand Turnitin requirements, improve my methodology, and improve the abstract and discussion sections. These experiences taught me the value of sticking to details.
Overall, this semester was a rewarding learning experience, and I thank Ms. Jinchi for her patience, expertise, and unwavering support. Her feedback not only improved my work, but also inspired me to confidently face challenges and strive for excellence in all aspects of my academic journey.
